After a tour of our vineyards and winery, you'll sit down to a tasting that examines the components of wine and the important role they play in creating a balanced wine. October 10 - February 2 -- Delicate Deception Exhibition at Copia
Delftware 1600-1800 Delftware follows the tradition of 17th and 18th century Dutch potteries in producing distinctively blue and white pieces that imitate Chinese porcelain designs. This show features approx. 80 pieces from the collections of Historic Deerfield. 500 First Street, Napa.

February 18, The Angelo Duo An American and Australian team based in San Francisco, The Angelo Piano Duo brings an eclectic mixture of musical styles to the Napa Valley Opera House stage, with a repertoire that encompasses the richness of the Classical and Romantic styles.

February 20, Sol y Canto Let Sol y Canto take your family on a Latin American musical journey with selections from the group's 2003 bilingual CD for children and their families. March 16 -- SFJazz Collective With an all-star line-up including vibes legend Bobby Hutcherson and renowned saxman Joshua Redman, the SFJAZZ Collective celebrates the sound of jazz as a vital and ever-changing art form.

 

March 19 -- Golden Bough Founded in 1980, this year marks the Celtic trio's silver anniversary. Known for their pristine vocal harmonies and refined musicianship, Golden bough perform on the Celtic harp, violin, viola, penny-whistle, guitar, accordion, octave-mandolin and bodhran (a hand held drum, unique to the Celtic culture), creating an exquisite panorama of sound.

 

March 26 -- Peter Schickele in Songs About Life And Other Embarrassing Moments  Join Peter Schickele, along with David Düsing, for a casual evening of original songs about his wife, kids, cats, friends, life on the road, and sundry other subjects, serious and comic.

March 31 -- Artie Shaw Orchestra Now in his 90s, Shaw remains actively involved, but no longer travels with the band. His clarinet virtuosity is carried on by his chosen successor, bandleader Dick Johnson, who has a distinguished musical career of his own.

March 6 -- 27th Annual Napa Valley Marathon Runner's World magazine has recognized the Napa Valley Marathon as one of the top twenty marathons in the United States. The annual race is run the first Sunday each March just as blooming mustard flowers coat vineyards with a blanket of vivid color. It is also the Road Runner's Club of America (RRCA) National Marathon Championship event.
